• Graphicxtras
Graphicxtras (formally Sapphire Innovations) was
started in 2001 by Andrew Buckle, developer of the Andrew's filters.
Graphicxtras have released many collections of plugins volumes.
The original Andrew's filters are still available on the web as
well as in a collection called Plugin Magic. At the same
time, he developed many volumes of frames and borders for use
in frame plugins, as well as a series of e frames.
Over the last few years, Graphicxtras have developed many new
sets of plugins called "Andrew's Plugins" and these
feature an enhanced dialog interface, many new options, and a
wider range of special effects. As well as plugins for Photoshop,
Graphicxtras have also released many presets volumes for Photoshop
6 and 7, including brushes, custom shapes, styles, gradients,
patterns and displacement maps. Each of these sets offering
their own unique visual impact. Along with plugin development,
Graphicxtras have also created many vector effects for Illustrator
as well as symbols and brushes for Illustrator, Freehand, Fireworks,
and Flash.
